Mocca goes Rambo!

As expected, I went to the only comic book convention I can stomach, the Mocca Festival. This convention is more important to me than Christmas or my birthday and it comes once a year the same. This year for the first time, the convention dumps the cozy and hipster-friendly Puck Building for the Lexington Ave. Armory -an actual military base for the New York National Guard, home of the Fighting 69th.
Bad times seems to make the Museum less friendly for us broke people. Last year when I became a member they game me a free comic book. This year, only who paid for more expensive memberships got them. Last year I showed my membership card and I entered the convention for free. This year, you only got a discount for the ticket.
I'm not complaining though, the festival is worth it. I ended up broke monetarily, but culturally rich.
